Dilapidated temples of kashmir

 

 

 

 

A photo Exhibition on the Dilapidated temples of Kashmir was held at Haridwar on 30th and 31st july 2016, specially for the kawariyas. Around 5000 devotees had a close look at the temples and approximately 60lakh people had a cursory look at the Photos.The Exhibition was organised by Rescue NGO.

Some of the Photos that were displayed for the Exhibition are attached below.Few temples like the Kakran Temple and Vital Mandir Rainawari have been restored by the Kashmiri Pandits.There are still hundreds of temples that were broken or desecrated by the miscreants in the valley.

Most of the Photos that were on display were shot by KPSS/Vijay Sas or Chander Mohan Bhat.
