JAMMU, AUG 19:- A demonstrator holds the Indian national flag after she climbed a tower during a protest in Jammu August 19, 2008. In the Hindu-dominated Jammu region, thousands of Hindu protesters courted arrest on Monday to protest against what they called a delay in handing over land to Hindu pilgrims. The crisis began after the state government promised to give forest land to a trust that runs Amarnath, a cave shrine visited by Hindu pilgrims. Many Muslims were enraged. The government then rescinded its decision, which in turn angered Hindus in Jammu who attacked trucks carrying supplies to the Kashmir valley and often blocked the region’s highway, the only surface link with the rest of India. This is a shameful day for the INDIAN history, where the people are discrimated from there basic rights.
The Govt. Of J&K, is basically a Govt. of Kasmir only,
Omar Abdula and PDP leaders are making fun of themselfs, a very basic proverb they should remember is “jo jis thalli mai khata hai, usmai cheed nahi karta”. But seems like we should give Kashimiris aazadi now, please go and get lost!!!
